I’m a cranky old-web person but I’m just genuinely fucking mystified that the reaction to either Jack’s or Zuck’s new corporate social media landgrab isn’t a loud unanimous laughing “no, get fucked”. Twitter and Facebook were a warning, not an instruction manual.

@codinghorror it's funny, i am down for camping gear in general as part of camping but i am almost always fed up with anything but my normal cutlery, to a degree that I don't usually think about hard enough ahead of time to make a point to bring a set on purpose. Some neurospicy whammy of habit and comfort of the familiar and food/mouth/texture stuff.So I'm sort of the opposite here: "this is VERY clever design and I do not EVER want to have it"

Signed up for a Valentine’s Day card swap, got to brainstorming about ideas, decided a linocut of a (Millennial style) hands-heart could be fun to try. Refreshing and challenging to go for something like this after a lot of really flat-style Homunculi designs lately; first draft is erring on the side of caution, since I can always carve more off but not so much put lino back on. Feels like a good start, definitely needs some more work in a second pass.
