Did not know that when a user moves to another instance all following and followers get orphaned, meaning you have to manage every moved user manually. So by moving you'll lose a portion of your followers. #Mastodon UX fail.

@Clashicly @lukedashjr @dilutionproof @lizard @Iamtutut The Broadcom chip is closed hardware, so it could contain a hardware backdoor. The GPU runs a proprietary blob (firmware) who knows what it does. There's no solution until we get a complete open hardware + software SoC like RISC-V. I think it is still better than a classic intel machine (with Intel ME) and Windows 10. Unlikely that the rasp pi is a mass target for NSA and friends but theoretically possible. IMO the real spying is on OS lvl.

Altcoins are not a threat to #BTC. But if you believe in crypto they surely are a threat to your understanding of scarcity. Only #BTC is and can be scarce. As soon as an altcoin replaces #BTC, the entire digital scarcity case is voided. Only once can analog gold SoV be superseded
