@adamdavidson @rmayemsinger @joshtpm I’ve not heard of any reputable instance deciding to block journa.host. That said, admins like myself tend to see an exclusive, private server for a sector of professionals as a way for journos to try to export Twitter’s caste system to Mastodon.

@Gargron @ReverseModule @DataDrivenMD @foufoutos I think this response is a bit disingenuous, though. Anyone can verify themselves in the Fediverse. Considering the hoops through which one has to jump in order to get Twitter Verified, verifying oneself on Mastodon is trivial. A single authority on “verification” is unnecessary and redundant.
