@kuketzblog Man muss sich natürlich darüber im Klaren sein, dass dadurch Leute, die auf YouTube mit ihren Inhalten Geld verdienen ggf. weniger einnehmen und weniger von genau dem interessanten Inhalt produzieren, den man gerne sieht.

Some people cry wolf but I think it's interesting as a tech demo of what's possible on their platform.Now waiting for #AWS to follow suit. 😉People on the #Fediverse are concerned this could mean an "Embrace, extend, and extinguish" (EEE) move on their side, but I see a reduced risk in this if _a lot of big players_ are joining and keep up the competition. 😉

No, Google didn't kill #RSS by killing #GoogleReader.🫵 *YOU* killed RSS* by not calling out websites discontinuing or breaking their feeds. The best time to start doing this was a couple of years ago. The next best time is NOW.*: #RSS (#ATOM, and syndication in general) isn't dead. Y'all just are lazy.
