Finally finished and sent a proposal for a project that I'd really love to do. After 20+ years I still don’t find it easy and constantly worry that I've either over-egged or under-egged the estimate. I don't want to be ‘too expensive' and lose the opportunity, and neither do I want to look ‘suspiciously cheap’ like I've not read the brief properly and regret it later.(It's never ‘bang-on’, that scenario never happens in my head).

@matt All I would say is that the one time I had an accident - there were no cars around and it prevented 5mm being shaved off my skull. Didn't help my arse, but thats another story

Has anyone come across an example of an ‘All Gender Toilets' symbol done well? The choices seem to be either show 'everyone’ (Stick figure, stick figure in a dress, stick figure in wheelchair) or an oddly ‘half-skirted' person. Tricky one to convey succintly, but maybe there's a solution out there. A quick two penneth (putting the privacy elephant in the room aside for a moment):Bluesky: first experience - empty. Void. Hard to find people I want to follow.Threads: very quick easy setup process if you’re on insta (which will be key for most people), but once in its chaos and anxiety inducing. Can’t turn off suggested posts, doesn’t remember where you were (and it’s an algorithmic timeline anyway). It’s interesting to dip into others, but it just solidifies why I’m on Mastodon.

@scrwd I've used Free Your Music to move data from Spotify to Apple Music. There's a one off cost that you pay to do the transfer. It mostly works fine, but I did find a few mis-matched albums. Haven't found any alternative UIs, other than the Web UI :(
