@paul I enjoy that on the super nintendo you can do whatever you want on the cart, and just hand off a frame buffer to the system (though I guess they were formatting it as tiles or something).

just had a thought: what if every time a new post showed up, the letters crawled onto screen, with a little bing for each one.and if you did some *markup* it could make the text do a little jump and play a horn.

@neauoire possibly known issue, but the version of left.rom that comes bundled with the unx windows emulator here https://100r.co/site/uxn.html appears to be out of date? it doesn't have the file browser stuff that is mentioned in the docs.

Want some good sci Fi to read with the kiddo - he specifically requested "space fiction", so rockets and astronomical stuff a plus. Also, I suspect YA isn't gonna be his thing, he quickly bores of drama.We are currently reading clockwork rocket. He really hooked onto my description of it explaining how an alternate universe works. I doubt we will make it through the first chapter tho.Any recs?
