Can someone recommend a good note-taking app that focuses on pen input and actually treats Windows or maybe even Linux or Android as a first party operating system instead of going the route of easy monetization through Apple-people (no offense intended but it's definitely easier to press cash out of iOS/Mac users for software developers since they never got used to that everything is free mentality that others have)?

All OSS implementations I found are either unusable/broken or lack essentials like an overview of recently used notebooks.Also: this is not for me, I'm happy punching markdown in an editor. My GF owns a Surface and is jealous of Goodnotes (which sucks on Windows because they don't care).

Experimental setup to track our usage of heating oil and therefore the primary energy consumption for heating this house.This is inferring consumption from the "on" time of the burner through the power usage of the fan in the burner, which according to the datasheet turns on 13s before ignition. Given the nozzle diameter and pressure the consumption during a burn is approximately constant so you directly calculate the mass flow from the "on" time of the burner.

Home Assistant still has no concept of Oil, so I had to calculate the approximate energy usage and mask it up as Gas consumption to get pretty graphs on the Energy Panel.

Goal of this project: make changes to the building (we're currently replacing windows) measurable, get a grasp of how much energy is actually needed to heat the house to make it easier to scale a future heating solution.

Knapp 4 Monate nach dem Online-Antrag auf die 200€ Förderung für ein Balkonkraftwerk in S-H kommt heute eine Email der IB-SH die mich dazu auffordert ein Formular auszudrucken, auszufüllen und per Post einzusenden. Auf dem Formular werden ausschließlich Daten abgefragt die im Ursprünglichen Antrag schon enthalten waren...Die Hälfte der Infos waren ja sogar nötig um mir diesen Wisch per E-Mail zu senden 🤷♂️

@ErikUden blocking 90% of registrations is a logical consequence of having a 90% rate of low-quality, bot and otherwise disposable content. One could argue if meta blocks 9 out of 10 people from joining they would have a very high success rate at blocking the correct ones as well. The people who still stay on those platforms are a nicely stirred mix of target audiences to sell ads for. I don't know if meta cares about the users content at all. They just need a little to keep them engaged.

@vncresolver keep the old code safe. I once started a refactoring/rewrite and it didn't work out as I hoped it to...with no way to go back because I f*d up my repo 😁
