@apps What about prompting directly to enter the descriptive text, might be more efficient and less annoying no? 🤔 Being annoying is a way to antagonize people. So imo it's a good example of a false good idea.Also I can see (few) valid reasons not to put descriptions, just imagine you need to share a picture before the cops seize or break your phone or something. Do you want this reminder to nag you in the heat of the moment? I don't trust an app favoring ideology over users' choice. #Tusky

Je l'utilise depuis 6 mois, quand je suis passé sur un nouveau Pixel et j'en suis content perso.J'ai quand même installé l'application propriétaire Camera de Google pour les photos et je me suis contenté de bloquer l'application dans le firewall du système en pensant que c'était un compromis acceptable pour l'instant…Du coup j'ai un machin qui fait d'aussi bonnes photos que le dernier iPhone pour la moitié du prix, sans GAFAM

@tuxicoman je sais que malgré le fait que je paye Netflix 4k pour toute la famille une blinde tous les mois, j'ai pas le droit à plus de 720p, même en activant widevine... du coup je télécharge les rares bons trucs qui passent sur Netflix pour avoir une qualité décente (et un lecteur de qualité) 😂

@boilingsteam the only way this would make any sense vs a comparable device with a more widespread architecture is if this was fully open source and open hardware and it won't be.Or if it was extremely cheap I suppose...

@BrodieOnLinux What kind of crashes do you have?I have crashes with my amd gpu as well, in my case sudden black screen that are very hard to troubleshoot

@boilingsteam I wish LibreWolf and maybe Zen were in the official repo so I don't have to rely on the AUR for something as critical and with such a big attack surfaceNot that the AUR is bad but just for peace of mind, knowing maintainers also had their eyes on the code before it runs on my machine, I don't know...Ladybird is promising sure but I don't feel comfortable promoting the project because of its leader(https://drewdevault.com/2025/09/24/2025-09-24-Cloudflare-and-fascists.html)Maybe I'll wait for a Servo based browser?
