@ken oh that post-wedding feeling! We got a massage and treated ourselves to a seafood tower at one of our favorite places as a reward for getting through it! I’ve got a massage booked next week - this weekend I think I just need to do some house/yard projects and meal prep, maybe take a nice warm bath with salts.

@ken thanks! Tomorrow will be a good day for exploring. My hotel tonight is directly across from the Brooklyn Apple Store… if I’d known I’d ordered my iPhone for pickup there rather than hoping UPS doesn’t just drop it on my porch while I’m away 😂😂

Having a dog was always such a good reason to get up and take a midday walk… I have a hard time reminding myself to walk away from my computer now, and walking around the neighborhood without him just doesn’t feel right ☹️

@ken it’s a rough adjustment. As the weather gets a little cooler I am going to try to get out of the house for a lunchtime stroll. Our walks were pretty short at the end, but there’s nothing stopping me from doing a longer loop.

Switched health plans this month and while the effective date of the new plan is 10/1, we don’t have any information on how to actually access care and have been told to expect it next week… soooo I guess no COVID and Flu shots this weekend?

I’d love to see some research on whether this is due to COVID infection or just the fact that we’ve all felt under threat since 2020 and our brains aren’t working the way they used to. @ken not at all, my gym partners with a company called TrueMed to get these letters customized for the gym, but you might just be able to request one from One Medical in the app.

@James @ken @thickurt yep, and we drive so infrequently that even from a climate perspective it’s just not worth the money for us right now. I just hate driving our little golf cart around when everyone else is so much higher. I feel very vulnerable.
