@shoq The blogs of the early oughts demonstrated the power and profit potential of digital publishing.But it didn't take long for wannabe monopoly capitalists to swoop in and co-opt that potential -- basically by recreating the old AOL "walled garden" approach, but on the web.So all those folks trying to leverage the "network" to promote their content just ended up promoting their own irrelevance.
