We marched in hundreds down Broadway, from Times Square to Union Square. I walked in the front, following the American flag carrier leading the march, and became emotionally overwhelmed around 20th street. I joined in the chant of "NO KINGS!” down many blocks, feeling the meaning of it, a little more each time, until my throat closed from the weight of it. #NYC

@discatte I remember the feeling I had the last time I bought a floppy drive, from a junk-store computer store run by a friend of a friend in central Maine. It was an internal drive for a Linux box in my home office and I don't remember why I bought it now, or if I ever actually put a disk into it. Maybe it just felt right.

@jdyer @victorgijsbers Yes, as another person commented, it sounds to me like ”she picked up a tex-mex and dipped in into the hot sauce.”But a linguist friend dove into it since and has determined that some people really do use “dim sum" as a countable noun, applicable to the individual dumplings-and-such, and that there's precedent for this.The context is that this use appears several times in an audiobook audition script I've been called back to read!

Authors can use AI for things like research and coding assistance if they want, but everything players directly experience must now be wholly human-produced.I am on the comp advisory committee, and was one of many folks taking part in this discussion, guided by player surveys. I feel happy with where it ended up. #InteractiveFiction
