#RIPKeithGiffen. Among a LOT of other things about mainstream #comics in the last 40 years, you have him to thank for #DCComics reviving Darkseid and the New Gods in the #1980s by bringing it back to Kirby's look. (who at that moment was actually unfashionable, but others didn't do well by the characters either till then) Not to mention (with Levitz) setting the standard for the Legion since 1982.
