writing some html by hand this morning to update my sdf website from scratch and honestly having a little fun. I get that the website will look like its from 1995 but honestly...I'm pretty ok with that. its functional!

One fun thing about the great #twittermigration is seeing all the admins in action during upgrades and the like. I wish it wasn't always a fight between GNOME and KDE 😞They're both good for different reasons. It shouldn't be a travesty that some users don't care about ricing and just want a DE that gets out of your way. It also shouldn't be such a travesty to *gasp* not use a Windows UI paradigm either. Why are we fighting??? Who cares!

@publius big agree, the KDE suite is really impressive! But I am in the same boat. I have GNOME trimmed down to the point it's basically a window manager. If I could use GNOME as the DE with openbox as the window manager I would use that.

@ParadeGrotesque this feels similar to the guy that started VLC and did the same thing when it comes to investors and acquisitions etc. We need more of this in the world!
