@virilemame @Effortless I agree with the sentiment, but what do you suggest? Changing these sorts of laws means changing people’s opinions. Speak truth to those you converse with, vote appropriately, refuse to play their woke games and educate your children on recognising this nonsense when they see it. Make noise.

@m @Effortless I don’t particularly care what degrees they may have, what I want is some common sense and more importantly some integrity. Sadly both seem to be in short supply.

@m @BillingtonYVR @Effortless Ha, some would. Others not so much. While I concur to a degree, one running a government doesn’t need all the skills required to be an expert in every feild, one simply needs the common sense and integrity required to take advice and recommendations as needed from those who know better. The problem with many current politicians is they think they know better, or are getting advice from lobbyists and corporations with the funding for their re-election campaigns.

@m @BillingtonYVR @Effortless Absolutely I agree, note however that I consider much of the ‘advice’ our current governments received from ‘experts’ as false or pushing an agenda or simply profiteering. But would you expect every government leader to be well versed in every field.
