How to get neatly tagged, reasonably good quality music from youtube: You’ll need youtube-dl and MusicBrainz PicardFind your desire album / song on youtube, get the linkcd into your desired directory (or preconfigure it beforehand) and run youtube-dl -x --audio-quality 0 --add-metadata --ignore-errors $YOUR_LINK_HEREAfter it downloads, add the folder to MusicBrainz Picard , load the selected files to the middle column and hit Scan butoon - this will search for metadata in the net. @14 Soulseek completely flew under my radar, same thing for beets thanks for the suggestions m8. Picard+ytdl so far have been working fine for my use case, but especially with google wanting to kill youtube-dl it’s important to have a plan-b

@jvalleroy Paprika is pretty solid with a good amount of crazy. Strongly suggest the director’s other works - Tokyo Godfathers if you want something wholesome, or Perfect Blue for something darker

I started reading Hoppe’s “Democracy - The God that Failed” and I got to say, it really got my nogging jogging about a lot of our(TM) current issues.Can’t say I’m truly sold on his “Natural Order”, but the suggested starting point of fomenting decentralization, session and self-determination is very appealing (and very Fedi-like)

was having some issues with my #XMPP server, thought it had to do with renewal of a wildcard certificate using #certbot , turns out, it was just docker shitting the bed because it thought the server had no more RAM (?)Making the jump to docker was pretty neat, but now I’ve got to figure out a more robust way of managing / monitoring services - maybe try out k3s
