       I called the #NewYorkTimes and cancelled my subscription this morning--I have a #nonbinary  child. I told the very nice lady I spoke to why I was cancelling, and asked her to pass on to management that they were putting kids like mine in danger. She said she would pass that along, then offered me the editorial department's phone number so that I could also call them and let them know why I'd cancelled. I did indeed call & leave a message.        @e_urq even here in Los Angeles a nurse at our pediatrician’s office told me that most of the parents of non-binary kids don’t support them. “So nice to see your kid so healthy and happy. Most kids like yours have anxiety or depression.” 😭 This is in one of the most progressive areas in the country.
