       Time for my #introduction I've been in the IT field since 2002 but have been a nerd since I got my first computer in 1987. I've done a lot over the years, #sysadmin, #itmanager, #sqladmin, #webhosting and so much more. These days I manage #m365 along with assisting with much more. Spare time is filled with #camping, #selfhosting, #family and #gaming. I'm the #mastadmin of this instance, Okla.Social, to create a space for those from #oklahoma to come together.

       @tilvids @nextcloud @cainmark but please backup somewhere! That is one of the things we’ve enjoyed with Google Photos so take a look at Backblaze S2 for backup or something similiar.

       @BalooUriza dang in Tulsa?! We’re in Broken Bow this weekend at a state park cabin. We finally left our cabin around 3pm because a tree fell on our power line and they had just came by to confirm. Love this park, they moved us for free to a better cabin so easily. Sadly, someone here was killed early this morning after the storms. A tree fell on them after the storm was over and they were out inspecting the damage.

       @unktheunk hey! Thanks for reaching out. To be honest, it's been pretty easy since I decided to outsource the management to toot.io. Jan has been a mastermind of keeping things online and secure. Keeping registration filtered is a must unless you want a lot of spam and abuse. You'll need to connect to a couple relays to really bring in content in the beginning. Stay active, post as much as you can. interact a lot with other people.
