This is very alarming news. The #FBI is to open a stand alone office in #Wellington. For anyone who doesn't understand what the letters FBI mean, it is the US Federal Bureau of Investigation not the NZ Federal Bureau of Investigation. This fkn NZPol Coalition of Corruption are allowing the #US FBI to spy on #NewZealand. The call is coming from inside the House. @lightweight I watched this last night, it’s great to see Chloe and Gary together. It was particularly interesting to watch Gary learning about Aotearoa NZ’s economy and realising that economic inequality is universal.

It seems the global right wing commentary and media, including #NZPol right wing, reaction to Mamdani's astounding win in #NYC mayoral election is to put it all down to Mamdani's charisma and social media campaign and absolutely nothing to do with his socialist and anti-oligarchy policies targeting the everyday people who have become victims of the corporate control of our politicians and politics. Like #Mamdani it's time for the left to stop apologising for representing the voiceless and trying to appease the right, who will never support them regardless, by amplifying the concerns of us, the people, and offering us all something to vote for feel part of.

@billbennett 100% Although I like the idea of encouraging people to think outside the square. I calculate it will only take a party vote of about 20-25% to make this a reality. I like to remind people that under MMP if you're not entirely convinced that Labour are fully committed to taking the action we so desperately need to combat climate change, poverty and social collapse then you can party vote NZ Green without sacrificing control to the tyrants.
