i’ve seen 2 popular tiktoks this week from young white creators saying that credit scores “don’t matter” (a privileged take on oppressive systems) and medical debt doesn’t impact it (not true). it kind of feels like i’m watching the next generation’s economic crisis in slow motion…the pandemic is increasing the medical cost burden of both citizens and healthcare establishments and something will have to give and it’s gonna be on the citizens.
