       @Sean @futurebirdI have heard many folks refer to fediverse as "algorithm-free" but that's not really true, I mean if you explore trending toots, theres an algorithm behind that, just more transparent then the twitter or facebook algorithm. And there are some fedi platforms which use algorithms to balance your home feed with toots from high volume and low volume accounts. So algorithms aren't necessarily bad themselves, it depends which algorithms and how you use them
