Tell me more about Hydra and how it's either a total disaster, or just never going to happen. I have nothing to do with backends. I'd probably struggle with editing the frontend, or even building an app from git, just lol! Perhaps Old Gab would have been a better choice over Mastodon? @alex

Sounds cool. My server plan is soooo budget I wouldn't be able to run this stuff, haha. I'm not so sure on social, maybe setting up Riot IM would be more suitable for the political stuff that I do. I'd probably figure it out (the installation) but I'd need a more expensive web plan EEEEKK @alex

VK is a really cool website, kind of like pre-2010 Facebook, but with hot Russian babes who you can talk to (without even paying any money) pretty neat imo @alex @colonelj

If everyone at least went vegetarian, then animal welfare would improve (back yard hens tbh) I might go vegan in 10 years but right now, no way. That said I drink rice/almond milk every day.
