       If there’s one potential upside to this delay in counting advance polls: if the trend from the US holds steady, left-leaning voters participate in early voting initiatives more than do right-leaning voters.        The inability of #Threads to import my Twitter/Masto follows is kind of a problem. I don’t want to follow my friends, family, and cute picture/meme accounts I follow on #IG. I want to follow the miscreants and journalistic types that I follow on these services. They’re INHERENTLY different groups that I’d rather not mix thoroughly.

       @grammargirl I am not a single, unified, authentic human being, I am multifaceted, and appreciate the ability to present different versions of myself in different settings! I the version of me that’s active on TikTok is an entirely different person as well. I also appreciate getting to know the different sides of the people I follow as well! In my books, that’s a good thing.
