@Reeter Remembering a few years ago when I started working for $EMPLOYER and certain named Tesla models were banned from employee parking spaces in the vicinity of the loading dock and the garage. Because cameras and industrial espionage. Explicitly.

@lauren Don’t even bother daring the Supreme Court to decide what the 14th Amendment means. Believe me, you really don’t want to turn Justice Thomas loose on that question. Just #MintTheCoin and dare them to rule that the US doesn’t have the power to coin money, because that is NEVER going to happen. Just #MintTheCoin. Mint. The. Damned. Coin.

@brianbilston the language is perfectly normal— it’s the romanized orthography that was the mistake.

Here is a thing I hope #mastodon instance administrators will consider doing in response to the new #Threads app from #Meta: pay very close attention to account migration.Don’t enable account migration *to* Threads on any instance at which accounts are unable to migrate *from* Threads. I think a quid pro quo on this point is absolutely necessary.Don’t let Threads take accounts unless they let people come back if they don’t want to be there anymore.

@cks You’ll get no arguments from me. Build and integration is full of complicated problems. It requires serious engineering.
