@tomjennings @bitsavers Provide a command line option that contains the DISKDEF equivalent parameters, and you have it all covered. E.g. the above format would be "0,1,26,6,1024,243,64,64,2". Flexible? Yes. Insane? Also, yes.

@jamie Is this a distress signal? Have you been abducted? I can't think of another explanation for your post. 😜

@tomjennings I am sure there's ancient Egyptian scrolls with some kind of "new, better way of teaching math".

@abraxas3d @OpenResearchIns @ka9q Quick question for y'all, if I may. What is the highest data rate that was ever achieved on ham radio over a kilometer or more? And what would it take to bump this up by, say, two orders of magnitude? #hamradio #amateur #amateurradio #opensource #openscience

@tomjennings Very interesting indeed, and I am almost tempted, but have soooo many projects already. Regarding a laptop version, the last CP/M machine I owned (and used for a long time) was an Epson PX-8 "Geneva" with the 128k RAM disk. The user experience from that (and the battery life!) definitely resonates with your laptop ideas.

@detondev At first glance this looked to me like some nicely interleaved bread. Time for new glasses?
