@animeirl if a person wants to publish videos at a constant pace and increase production quality of said videos at the same time then it does make sense that everything else falls off since time is finite, especially if one does youtube as a hobby and not full timekinda sucks that people do that tho but i guess that gives them more views lol

@Zergling_man Oof it's complicated. There's actual canon anime in the works now AFAIK (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx5y9iwblpA) but this particular "template" is from Girls' Frontline Healing Chapter which is basically ONA advertising the actual game (the episode this one's from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q8VDpu0asw, beware of mild existential crisis). There's also Madness Chapter which is basically animated adaptation of in-game 4komas IIRC. Both are non-canon though, think parallel universe kind of thing. They are fun to watch though if you are a GFL fan.

@Zergling_man Yep, business as usual.Still not out, indeed, but looking pretty legit nonetheless. I actually have pretty high hopes for it since main cast seiyuus announcement, and production studio looks experienced as well. Doesn't look like it's going to end up like Azur Lane anime at least.

@Zergling_man I don't mind really since I quite like Soppo. But yeah maybe it will take off and they'll make series focused on other dolls (>implying), especially Russian ones. OTs-12 is indeed a qt3.14 (god tier chara design imo), she's one of my adjutants cos she reminds me to stop messing around lol

@Zergling_man Monitorix is easy to set up (compared to other monitoring software at least imo) rrdtool based solution and lets you monitor network traffic of specific ports and processes, among others.https://www.monitorix.org/documentation.html

@Zergling_man Great read, this analogy to a tool box author made is spot on. I was helping a friend of mine with some PHP project for uni recently (sadly they were forced to use PHP...), not with the PHP part of it itself but I did have to take a look under the hood to see how things worked – I was honestly dumbfounded by some things I've seen. Not only due to the code being written by essentially newbies mind you, since the project was using some third party code as well, supposedly written by professionals.

What happened to Near is absolutely gut wrenching, especially considering how many of freeze peach retards there are in retro games & related communities. Despite things like this happening those spineless cowards will still argue against deplatforming of various reactionary garbage.

@Zergling_man You are right, I was a quite a bit emotional writing this. It'd absolutely not help, as @BluRaf says they'd just move and I did not consider that. It's just a terrible situation overall.

@animeirl For hot peppers (would work with non-hot ones if you add some spicyness yourself) I do 1 cup of white vinegar, 0.5 cup of apple vinegar, 1.5 cup of water, around 1 cup of sugar, 1 tbsp of salt (thing with salt is that pickling salt is very fine, so if you use a more "thick" type of salt use slightly more to compensate, as for type of salt any salt with no additives will do) for brine. I also add 2 large garlic cloves (will release its taste faster if minced first) per jar, I do 900ml jars.Simmer water, vinegar, salt and sugar until salt and sugar dissolve then let it cool. You can add sugar to the brine in parts, checking if brine is sweet enough to your taste after each part. Slice the peppers however you like them, remove the seeds if you want, put them in a jar and just pour the cooled brine over them. They should be ready to eat after about 12 hours in fridge but in my opinion it's best to leave them there for at least 24 hours. You can pickle whole peppers but it will take a lot longer for them to develop taste (never did them that way, I'd guess at least week or two?). They taste great with grilled meats and you can also blend them to get a decent hot sauce. At this vinegar to water ratio it should be fine to keep jars in room temperature without any canning, but I'd just keep them in fridge, that'd make them last theoretically indefinitely. I'd also make a small batch first if it's your first time pickling, to not waste all the peppers if you don't enjoy how they turned out, and tweak proportions if needed. They are quite flexible as long as you keep things acidic.

TL;DR Install linux-tkg-pds[1] if you have issues with audio stuttering when using Pipewire and Wine. Other schedulers might work also.I had this weird issue on Linux with Pipewire and software (mostly games) running through Wine, where when said software would produce any sounds it would sometimes, for some reason, introduce some sound lag to entire system which would persist until Pipewire was restarted and increase periodically until said Wine software was stopped. Obviously that's not quite ideal and made playing games or watching videos basically impossible. I stumbled upon someone fixing some other Pipewire issue by using a kernel built with PDS scheduler so decided to give that a try and it seems to have fixed my issues with Pipewire entirely. Now there's no lag/delay whatsoever and with that all my issues with Pipewire are fixed (besides Pulseeffects -> Easyeffects rebrand breaking all my configs but yeah).[1] – https://github.com/Frogging-Family/linux-tkg

@quad Honestly this tweet reads like new brand owner is just going to bait people with nostalgia and dropship them cheap electronics with 3dfx logo slapped on them (esp. that last part about smart phones, TVs and sound systems)
