       When you come to Mastodon, keep the following in mind..1. Masto is NOT a direct replacement for Twitter. Nothing is. 2. Masto is not difficult to learn and use. It's different, but if you can use Twit, you can use Masto.3. Masto has been around for six years. It's not "new" and there's no question that "it will last."4. Masto is about community, not performing and getting attention. 5. Masto is not for everyone. It's okay to move on to something else.

       Part 2..Please stop expecting Masto to be exactly what you left behind on Twit. You will likely need to rebuild your social community from scratch. It's also not helpful to post "How TF does this work?" as an introduction. It's okay to ask questions. Just be respectful about it.Most of all, remember that you moved into a new space. The people who are already in it are kind enough to make room for you. Act accordingly.
