@fireborn ouch! how do you think you will be able to fix that? that is one of the things that scairs the crap out of me about wanting to try linux if truth be told,and if you know me, or of me, lets just say I make a great beta tester. if it can be broken I will find a way to break it. lol.

@MishaalRahman ah, ok, thanks for that. I will say I don't know what google was thinking putting the earpiece speaker under the glass on the pixel 5. that was actually the strangest thing I have ever seen on a phone before.

@MishaalRahman I know I won't be getting one. a month ago, I was debating if I wanted to get the Z Flip5 or the pixel 8 pro. I ended up going with the Z Flip5 as it is easier to setup a samsung watch with a samsung phone than it is to set up the same samsung watch with a pixel. I have already been down that road. I must say that the Z Flip5 isn't too bad, but being totally blind, and having to use talkback, and the fact that samsung doesn't use the right proximity sensor where we can put our hand in front of it to stop speach is really off putting, but you sometimes have to deal with short comings like that.

@MishaalRahman oh lord! the microphone on there is absolutely offle! for over 100 dollars the microphone on that should sound a whole lot better! I have a logitec C920 pro, I believe it is, and it sounds a lot better. my boss got me a monitor with a built in web cam that you pull up when you want to use it, and push it down when you don't for privacy, and even it sounds a whole lot better than that one. I am totally blind so sound for me is pretty important.
