       I chose this Mastodon instance for my 8.1st account because it's a smaller spinoff of https://mstdn.social, run by @stux@mstdn.social. It also runs on a fork of Mastodon called Coffeedon.https://github.com/Coffeedon/CoffeeI named this my 8.1st fediverse account in homage to my alt @jamesp@linuxrocks.online (because of Windows 8.1 :windows: and also because of my 5.1st account on NixNet). I also created the Pixelfed account @jamesp@pixey.org, also run by @stux@pixey.org, though I'm not too into Pixelfed yet.
