I finally have native #IPv6 (/56) at home! I have connectivity from local ISP pe3ny.net #PragueI’ve asked several times before about IPv6, but the answer was always negative. I noticed recently that they offer 500/500 Mbps for 350 CZK/month, but I have “only” 100/100 Mbps for the same price. So I asked them to upgrade and also added obligatory question about IPv6. Surprisingly, they replied that it’s not a problem, they’ll change it and active IPv6, but they have to upgrade switch in the house

Dnes jsem byl na dalším srazu #ReactGirls. U piva jedna účastnice sdělila zážitek ze střední. Když se zeptala učitele informatiky na Python, tak jí pohrdavě řekl: To je na tvou hlavinku moc složité, věnuj se radši své prezentaci v Powerpointu. Pak prý dodal něco o tom, že stejně nakonec skončí u plotny.Stále se to děje. :( Takový člověk nemá ve školství co dělat a za takovýto přístup by měl dostat na hodinu vyhazov. >_<#education

@dalias What about killing plants? You shouldn’t give children any food before they understand enough to make a decision for themselves!This is really ridiculous. Humans need animal food for good development. Not giving meat to small children for “ethical reasons” is the most militant and dangerous veganism I’ve heard of.

@ncopa And isn’t it sort of breaking change that shouldn’t be backported into stable branches? As I know, the current kernel doesn’t open any portals. It can cause several issues. 😂

Tato část novoročního poselství prezidentky Zuzany Čaputové je pomyslným uhozením hřebíčku na hlavičku, v tomto případě zejména hlavičky populistů a dezolátů. I mostly use Alpine on VMs and also on physical machines, including my notebook.Can you be more specific about the changes made by Alpine? ’Cause I don’t know about any not specified in the release notes. I’d guess you’re complaining about some upstream project changes unrelated to Alpine… @Linux

@Linux No, you’re completely wrong – Alpine never provided glibc. It’s not possible to mix multiple libc libraries in one system (with classic layout).There used to be an unoficial glibc package provided by some third party – it was a nasty hack to break your system in many unexpected ways (it worked for some specific use cases though). This is what I’ve been working on for last months at #CVUTFEL – electronic door sign for classrooms. 10.2" e-ink display, ESPink #ESP32 board from #Laskakit, battery (for some), a custom case, firmware and control server. Receives images via MQTT, sends telemetry back. #IoTThe case was designed in FreeCAD and printed it on Prusa MK3S and Prusa Core One. Firmware is built on Arduino SDK with patched GxEPD2_4G lib. Control server is written in TypeScript and runs on NodeJS. It renders screens to 2-bit grayscale PNG and sends via Mosquitto.The price is ~115 EUR of you order the e-ink display and battery directly from China.Most of this is my work, from the hardware up to the control server and also monitoring. It’s a very interesting project, a nice change from what I normally do because it’s a physical object. :)This batch is 32 pieces and they will be installed mainly in Dejvice this month.
