       @wolf480pl @AlfNoProblem @futurebird @tryst  in wrong direction they tend to fail catastrophically, even way below their rated voltage. Especially the tantalum ones.Polarised electrolytic capacitors can be safely used both ways only to voltages around 1V (they are sometimes used this way in audio applications). This is still not recommended.
