       gonna cross post this from twitter, they’re in response to the post attached as an image the fact that wayland doesn’t allow apps to directly talk to each other is such a simple change that reduces potential attack surface by so muchwe also get a nice unified screen sharing interface so the user always knows exactly what they’re gonna get(1/2)people upset about this are simply scared of modernization. the future is isolation and apps talking to each other exclusively through standard interfaces, there’s no getting around it(2/2)
