THE THREE CHOICESYou basically have 3 Choices in how to approach living in this world:1. You can retreat from the world setting up a small and as secure (as is possible) little world of your own where you (and perhaps your family) can best survive without much attention (hopefully) from the larger world (and with the smallest possible up-front effort or risk on your own part). This is the “Hidden World Within the World” approach and is basically a strategy of “retreat until surrounded and finally caught.” It is the “Spectator in the Arena” strategy. Blend into the masses and hope to go unnoticed. The dangers and limitations of this approach are so self-evident I need not mention them but this is the very most popular modern and universal approach among most human beings of how to deal with the world, and always has been. It is the “I am no possible threat” approach, ignore me, enslave me, or eat me last please. (Numbered Endnote: all approaches have their dangers and limitations but the obvious and eventual and inevitable dangers of this approach are immediately obvious to everyone except the outright coward and fool.)2. The second approach is the “Fight and/to Improve” approach. It is basically an Offensive Strategy of Public Victory with the underlying intent of “Fight Publicly to Improve the World” for the greatest number of Others (and for yourself and your family). When younger this was my preferred approach though I also did as much “secret fighting” and “overt fighting” as I ever did public fighting (being surreptitious fits my combat nature, I am an infiltrator and scout at heart), and probably a lot more. (And there are certainly times when “secret fighting” ie. undercover work, espionage, etc. are perfectly legitimate approaches to fighting, or maybe even the best approach. It is a valid subset of the “Fight for Public Good” Strategy. However for our time in history it is probably the most corrupt and overutilized and ineffectual approach, so at this time I largely eschew it.) A subset of the Fight (publicly) for Public Good are things like the Saintly “Expand the Kingdom of God,” Strategy. This, along with “public fighting” is now my preferred approach, although both require some degree of “secret operations.” (Although, in the end, let’s be honest, all fights for Real Improvements hinge upon the eventual ends of the Kingdom of God. Eventually that is where all such efforts terminate and end up. All Good Roads Lead to God. A lot of people don’t even like to hear that, especially nowadays, but it is the Truth.)Unless you are evil, of course, then your intent is fight to control, kill, suppress, and tyrannize. And to merely seek personal glory and power at the expense of others (usually the innocent, weak, and helpless).And evil often requires a good deal of “corrupt secrecy,” as is evidenced by the so called Deep or Shadow State. (Which has infiltrated your entire society at least as deeply as it has infiltrated your government.) Both the Public Fight for Public Good/God and the fight for your own individual evils are definitely minority pursuits, probably due largely to fear and threat of risk. Most people avoid every risk, especially public ones, they possibly can in life.3. The Last Approach, which has become mine over time, and as I age, is partially composed of both 1 and 2. Establish your Own Stronghold, as secure as possible (not very) for your Family and use it as a Forward Base of Operations to Fight to Publicly Improve the World and/or Expand the Kingdom of God. It is what I like to call the “Countless Castles” or “Frontiersman’s Approach.” Each person who does this establishes their own castle, enclave, estate, fortification, etc. from which to publicly fight corruption, evil, tyranny, etc. You become, in essence, your own fiefdom. If many such enclaves exist it is very difficult if not impossible for a single force to conquer, kill, subdue, or tame them all. (Unless some choose that to happen, and some will – look how many agencies, corporations, churches, and individuals choose to align with, accommodate, or sell themselves outright to their governments and societies. Or to even worse forces.)But yeah, those are your Three Basic Choices in this world. 1. Escape/Retreat/Surrender (Avoid/Escape/Evade until apprehended or liquidated), 2. Fight Openly, (and/or basically on the move or in constant motion or advance), or, 3. Stronghold, Rally, Sally, and Foray (with Slow but Regular Expansion of Territory).There are variations on each technique, of course, as mentioned above. Or like this one – The Multiple Strongholds Technique (where you establish multiple Strongholds of various kinds; geographic, financial, type, etc.), but again, they are really just variations on a type.Everything else is basically just a variation on those three.I post this in case it helps you in some way, or helps you adjust your Strategy for Living, or Helps you Develop a Useful and Good One… Have a Great Day Folks.
