@dmh How long do you have/how desperate are you? This is a weird suggestion, but if you have a bit of oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and onions, can I recommend thinly slicing the onions and then roasting until crisp?Discovered this after roasting onions in another meal and finding the crisp/burnt remnants in the roasting dish to be delicious.

@dmh Where are you? If you're in europe I've at least 1 (probably 3 or 4) 8GB SD cards that I've no use for that I'll happily send for cost of shipping.

@dmh Tbh, the US is probably fine too, especially as SD cards will fit inside an letter envelope no problem.

@dmh Fair enough. What are you looking for at that price? I've found 64gb+ to be pretty cheap usually.

@mwl I momentarily misread that as "fonts" and clicked on the link utterly fascinated.

@fitheach Might be a bit too minimal, but ImageMagick?magick display $file.webp(or depending on your installation)display $file.webp

@fitheach My first thought when I read your post was even less convenient: I actually wasn't sure if feh supported webp, so I was going to suggest piping output from imagemagick's convert into feh, before remembering that imagemagick had it's own display command.

@Polychrome Some googling suggests that it might need the proprietary drivers on older AMD cards? (amdgpu-pro)?

@manawyrm @rcarmo @foone Given the era it was written in and the fact that compiler optimisations would not have been as extensive as today, what’re the chances the binary blobs decompile into something clean-ish? It would be a shit-ton of work, but I’m wondering if a project along the lines of the Super Mario 64 decompilation would be possible.

@gregeganSF @johncarlosbaez @robinhouston That's getting somewhere toward actually evaluating the integral, if you expand it to 4th order terms and integrate,\[ \begin{align}&\int_0^\infty \mathrm{d}{x} \cos (2x) \prod_{n=1}^\infty\left(1 - \frac{(x/n)^2}{2} + \frac{(x/n)^4}{24}\right) \\ &= \frac{\sqrt{3 + \sqrt{6}}}{2} - \frac{\sqrt{6}}{\pi}\end{align}\]\( \approx 0.38751 \approx \pi/8 \)

@gregeganSF @johncarlosbaez @robinhouston starting to wonder if it actually is equal to \(\pi / 8\) and can be proved with a simple exchange of limits ± the arguments for why its valid to do so.
