@KimPerales I am blown away that this story makes zero mention of Backlight, Uplight, and Glare guidelines published by the Illumination Engineering Society in 2011. One day several weeks before the shut down began I visited a #FrankLloydWright structure, the Clinton Walker home in #CarmelByTheSea. The building is directly on the shoreline built onto a rocky outcropping. Here, you see it silhouetted at dusk.

@clive @shauna my father always said “accidents never happen“ and I remember him saying how he had to argue with a car salesman in order to get optional seatbelts installed, before they were mandatory. The salesman wanted to sell him a car off the lot, but he ended up having one specially ordered from the factory.

@clive @shauna it’s a good idea to buckle up because there is a lot of human error out there. I really prefer to call motor vehicle incidences collisions rather than accidents. But that’s an uphill battle.
