@grammargirl Increasingly clearer that fast literacy is a major issue. Considered reading/writing seems to be viewed by many as too difficult and an investment that reaps no immediate gain. If one is not communicating quickly, one will be left behind. It’s processed and delivered through the drive through window. Resigned in my general observation that the US veneer of sophistication is very thin presently. Guns, trickle down economics and party/celebrity politics have it on knees.
