What I like about Mastodon is the range of opinions it encourages, all likeminded ones from very different areas of work or regions or cultures are getting a very sane platform here to discuss issues that surround us. Its been fun to discuss things with people here. Also the delete & redraft feature, 500 words features...are precious. What I dislike, is the limited crowd availability to discuss or crib about topics like cricket or movies.

@Samyukth @Vishsai @wabbster I enjoy most games including Tennis, Badminton, Soccer & Chess...just got harder to keep track of developments with time & slowly one by one I lost track. Cricket is now kindof force-fed in India so its easier to keep track of.

@Vishsai @Samyukth @wabbster used to play football, even my brother & my roommate all of us used to have a blast. But that was a decade back, then our favorites started quitting the game one by one...were unable to go with the flow after a while. Even now I miss it. Literally one of the best games ever, but trust India to not highlight sports that actually encourage playing like a cohesive unit.

@Owaisbukhari15 @wabbster @Vishsai @Samyukth Dravid & Andy Flower are the most complete batsmen I have seen, of course Lara was a geniue freak!Of today's players, I enjoy watching Williamson & Guptill bat, but overall the game favours the batsmen too much these days & I hate the subcontinent rules of bringing soin into play from day 1 itself. Even contests are not being encouraged much nowadays.

@Owaisbukhari15 @wabbster @Vishsai @Samyukth for me a complete player is someone who can deal with the new ball & old ball effectively under hostile conditions because thats the true test of a batsman. Must know that scoring is great but not staying on the crease will only help the other team. So Dravid & Flower are my picks, from the current lot, only Williamson & Smith show that attribute. There is Pujara of course but the guy is buried so badly by his own management.

@Owaisbukhari15 @wabbster @Vishsai @Samyukth Bowlers are tough, really.Curtly Ambrose-Allan Donald were gifted, Marshall & Walsh were imposing, McGrath-Pollock were models of consistency & stamina. Akhtar-Lee were wild, Wasim-Richard Hadlee had an answer to everything, Warne was a hunter, Murali was a freak. Kumble-Vettori were the toughest warriors, Vaas-Srinath-Gough-Streak were a one man army. Steyn-Shane Bond were destructive. Ryan Harris-Shane Bond had injury-ridden but brilliant careers.

@milcom @SilkyNsa @musafir totally, it all started here. They know this state will be the last one to achieve freedom, so no real threat of burning in the near future.

@SilkyNsa @KnottedBow @Vishsai @Snehal_rasal @musafir I know some twisted people like that. They are openly happy about the fact that lives around them are getting disturbed, destroyed. Then there is afar worse breed that suddenly wakes up when its their turn to suffer & dare to criticize but, once there problem is solved they are back to their pathetic self. I hate being part of such society, I physically hate myself for being arkund this type of crowd, sadly they are everywhere.

Things were never so extreme until they began to use schools-shakhas-hostels-ashrams-sms-social media-whatsapp-etc as tools to target youngsters. Adults, please take care of the youngsters around you. Inform them about all how all this can be used to misguide them for benefits of some power hungry people. Help India keep its future away from being programmed for hate, discrimination, cruelty & stupidity.

@Amber the nation is dead. We are duffers to actually think patriotism is a thing.

@Amber true. Expecting a nation of such people to show sensitivity or ethics is like expecting pigs to fly. A hard fought independence struggle....seems a huge waste now. People here have shown time & again they don't deserve it.

@Amber they know people are cowards, people proved them right. Some actually put a criminal side by side with Lord Rama, so there is no hope left. Yesterday was organized by those criminals specifically with the intent to show this, that there is no hope left.

@Amber @praveen Even Mahatma Gandhi wouldn't be able to do anything here. Everyone knows that the forces governing us are evil, corrupt & immoral who have also rendered Supreme Court,Election Commision,CBI ,Income Tax Dept,Army...all helpless. Yet, these people keep bowing down to please the evil. They actually want to see things go much worse than this...am from Gujarat, I have seen this monster grow from zero to infinity. Kept hope alive but after 2019 it got tougher & now, all this. .

Those who were actually feeling sorry for LK Advani for how he got a raw deal in recent years, need to understand the extent of damage this man has done to our society, judicoary & politics in general.

@aseem true, Vajpayee was the two-faced actor, but Advani was the evil schemer that ran their unit.

A never ending quarantine situation, the resultant baggage of a truckload of tension, stress, worry...... & in between all that ; life sneaks in a moment of joy here & there every now & then as if to remind me that why being alive itself is a real good thing.
