@GlitchGhost I'm fixed with Debian + XFCE from two decades nowdays, the setup I found more nimble. Here and there I try some other distro but I feel Debian is still the one overall I like more as setup.I tried Freebsd but I had issues to make it run on my past machines. It has less support for some hardware than Linux.

@GlitchGhost For saying, that Linux was mature for desktop already for years. Proton/Wine support for games grew really quickly in a decade, and I think I ditched dual boot at the time when Vista was around (so really a lot of years ago...). The inconveniences are a matter of corner cases from a lot of times, and sometimes you met them again (not different if you adopted MacOs anyway).

@GlitchGhost Like Mint without the utilities. You can begin to install only the core (base system without X and GUIs) and then add later what you like/need and leave the rest. I use some different programs and utilities than those on Mint, so is quicker for me start from base and add what I use leaving out other things I don't.It is also has a lot less stuff to install, and is faster, thought you felt this more in past than today.

@GlitchGhost A lot of clones are very similar, but you can spot differences from the G4 pattern in the muzzle and body proportions, Price wise and quality are also a lot better overall than what Hasbro is doing nowdays.A lot of collectors have raised concerns and questions about the productions of that company: everybody else is doing better, and offering better, than them at this point. ->

@GlitchGhost In Italy they were sold rebranded as "Gli orsetti del cuore" (something like "little bears of the heart") and their show was aired on the same network that aired My Little Pony gen 1 and such, but I don't really remember the show. I'm not sure if I missed it or if it just faded away from my memory.

@JakobFel @GlitchGhost @Oregon_Pacifist In some regards, that's what PCs are if you put SteamOS on them.The issue is mostly the crazy prices of the latest years for some pieces (first the GPU, now the RAM), and that the job of various game studios is all than excellent about optimizing their games...
