@futurebird There's actually a thing called "cable porn", where engineers try to produce the neatest, tidiest network cabling. @TonyStark I've got a bad feeling that a certain amount of the stupid retroactive Biden bashing originates with the Russian disinformation machine. It generates a faked smear over the Democratic party as a whole. The Democrats are a long way from perfect, but at least they still cling to vestiges of decency and most of them aren't batshit crazy.

Science-based medications or vaccines, at least in the US, tend to cost a lot and usually require a prescription but any fool can order a bunch of supplements. RFK Jr. and crew view the science-based stuff as competition. @SnowshadowII Back when wooly mammoths roamed the earth and there were no vaccines, I (like everyone else at the time) had rubella. I have never been that desperately sick before or since. Parents who don't vaccinate their kids are guilty of child abuse.

@stux Heck, you only have to go back a few decades to get that point of view. I was born before the measles and polio vaccines. Several kids at my primary school had polio, a couple died and others were crippled, my parents were terrified of it. They got me vaccinated the nanosecond it came out. I didn't have the same luck with rubella or mumps, caught those before the vaccines came out, but if they'd been available you better believe I'd have been sitting in the nurse's office before I blinked!

@futurebird My dad was a "not MAGA" republican and he just didn't pay any attention to a woman that he didn't think was pretty. He'd be polite but on some level, any woman who wasn't pretty just didn't register on him. I imagine the same mechanism is at work with all republican males. So the Mar A Lago "look" has to be adopted if you're female and want to be heard. I guess they hope a few of their words get through while the guy is staring at their fake tits.
