I forgot to mention in my #introduction that I'm also a #beekeeper and these are my lovely bees. The Queen is a Buckfast and I have just the one colony. I'm hoping to split once they survive the winter. Currently, I'm treating them for Varroa, it's endemic in the UK. They seem to be doing quite well. I can't do a proper inspection at the minute, it's too cold and too wet but my hive monitor reports the interior hive humidity, temperature and audo frequency and volume are all good. 🐝
