@SecularBlasphemy My parents never really did give any thought about these things (and when I explain it to them, I really try not to sound like a jerk). There's a lot that has to be considered in terms of relationships and offspring, but a lot of young couples had no problem moving in together, using contraceptives, and if things didn't turn out - getting a divorce. I don't think a lot of Boomer/Gen X parents thought about their lives in the long term, and that hurt a lot of their children as a consequence.

@SecularBlasphemy I think most Americans accept "love is love" regardless their political or spiritual beliefs. It's not just interracial marriages that atomize a people, but interreligious marriages, too. How is a kid suppose to respect his parents if they're constantly competing with each other about which God to follow or whether he even exists? I wish there was a way to address these issues rather than having dysfunctional families become the new normal.

I really can't stand COVID hysteria in the workplace and the ineffective policies that determine "safety." All it is is a form of hypocrisy and discrimination. If you get your vaccines, you can work without a mask while if you're unvaccinated, you absolutely must wear a mask no questions asked. The reason it doesn't make sense should be obvious to these people, but I told my assistant manager that either EVERYONE should be forced to wear a mask or not wear one. I don't care if it comes from OSHA, the CDC, if you truly think you're going to die from some "superspreader" - wouldn't you want to reduce as much risk as possible?

Two ideas proposed during an economic crisis - one idea based on deception and redefining marriage, the other idea based on history and values the strengthen the family. Also, it should be obvious (but I guess not for "journalists") that multigenerational housing is not a new trend - it's one of the oldest traditions that kept families and communities together for centuries. It only ended when terms like the "nuclear family" became mainstreamed and independence was seen as a virtue rather than community.

I just got done watching this - and besides noticing the obvious that Fox News doesn't care about White people, or that they were pulling the "Dems are the real racist" shtick years ago, the very end of this clip was a greypill that I think needs to be thought about in the long term. In this clip, Patrice O'Neal takes a freedom-based position in a "racist controversy" where Don Imus says "you people" in a "offensive" manner against blacks. Patrice's argument throughout the debate boils down to "let him say what he wants, so I can say what I want." Patrice takes this approach while at the same time advocating for his race and the black community (notice subtle jabs like "crackas," or "you white folk") Although the debate itself is worth listening to, the deeper context in the situation that unfolds is more revealing. Dr. Hill, another black commentator, took the opposite approach of Patrice, instead taking the "cancel culture" position that Don Imus should be fired because his language "hurts black people" and that black women especially have dealt with abuse for too long. Dr. Hill would be caricatured by Sean Hannity, and asked questions about Al Sharpton's racist remarks against Whites and his anti-Semitism. Dr. Hill is cornered with the "hypocrisy" question and now has to justify the unjustifiable to which Neocons will retort: "Dems are the real racists."Although Patrice had his disagreements with Dr. Hill - he saw him as a "lost brother." Dr. Hill chose the unwinnable fight of having to prove his side and fight against ridiculous counterarguments. Patrice chose to laugh at the entire situation and call it out for what it was - retarded.At the end, Patrice points out to Dr. Hill that by playing into these games of "purity" with black leaders like Al Sharpton and his "racist" past, Dr. Hill is indirectly giving a weapon to his enemies. It's a divide-and-conquer tactic among both the black community and White people. Patrice does not slander, hurt, or personally attack Dr. Hill, but tries to have him see the errors of his ways because they are both black.Patrice and Dr. Hill have the same goal but with very, very different solutions. But one thing that has to be maintained is that they are both black. Right now, it is very tempting to want to look at White liberals and see them as a different ethnic group. But we have to win them over with an emotional appeal, we have to win our lost White liberal family. At the end of the day, racial primacy is and should be our goal - our first goal if we do have any. And how can we maintain our existence if we're constantly fighting about which religion will be the state-mandated one in an authoritative Right Wing empire that doesn't exist? I don't care if I have to work things out with White Progressives, White "Dirtbag" Lefty-types, etc. I'm not going to give up my political and social values, but I'm tired of seeing every other White person as a stranger when I could be viewing them as an extension of my family.

@ItsAllToast @weaf He made a shitcoin "Milliontoken" and doxed/threatened everyone who called him out. The idea was that he put in "one million dollars" of his own money into the token and everyone who got in would be rich. Turns out it was other people's money he was playing with and a number of people were scammed by Milliontoken.

So I really like playing around with StableDiffusion a lot just to see what it comes up with. I think it's a very unique way of generating ideas, and I love how the AI is able to interpret different things from sketches, thumbnails, and finished illustrations. Of course it's not perfect, so in many cases when I work with greyscale images and perceive something as shadow, the AI will interpret it as something else entirely. It'll do similar things with hands and some objects. I think it's really neat however and a great tool for artists.

Just finished Evangelion for the first time. I've had some people recommend I watch Gundam next, so I think I'll do that. It's refreshing watching these high-quality shows with actual narrative and character before everything became waifubait.
