       @ewdocparris voted for 95 to 05 because AOL was great. I remember all the usenet folks hated it but it was centralized just like usenet was but way easier to use. It had tons of chats and stuff going on on every subject 24/7 all the time, unlike now you have discord rooms with hundreds of people but no ones taking lol, are they bots? Did people just run out of things to say? What hell happened? #deadinternettheory

       @aral They will create nodes on the fediverse and then offer money to other nodes who join them, once they get enough pull on the network they will start introducing new "features" and then #EmbraceExtendExtinguish the fediverse. It's a story as old as time now.
