@deprecated_ii I get 200MB/s on my newer drive according to CrystalDiskMark, at least if you're talking about sequential read.

@coolboymew Reminds me of an english assignment I had in high school where they literally had us write down the urls we wanted to cite. Tons of people attempted to write down urls like this, lmao.

@josh Could you do "write to one, read from one", where the secondary db is still replicated to, but only takes over once the primary one goes offline? It would sacrifice speeds for Tor if you choose the clearnet db as the primary, but maybe that sacrifice is worth it?In that case, to speed up Tor maybe you can add filters for certain read-only queries to go to the closest database instead of the primary, if it's faster (not sure if this is a thing you can do tbh). Hope that makes sense.

@twl @josh Yeah, I believe the decision was made to bring in more users since many sites don't work without js, and retards would sooner switch back to chr*me than figure out how to turn off noscript

@graf @groundbeefhunter It's crazy seeing that a couple of chat rooms worth of messages is hundreds of GB. How is that even possible? Just a bunch of duplicated data?
