@clacke @gemlog Well, I looked up tear gas and then I individually looked up the compounds used, but yeah the answers seem a far cry from definitive. Though I do know that most compounds have a smell and taste listed somewhere. Even the profoundly toxic/noxious ones. But I figured I'd share none the less X) Let's hope we never learn for sure.

@clacke Here in the states we have a sizable chunk of people that are, due to interpretations of biblical prophecy, worried about society forcibly installing chips to oppress the population, and I've always said that was absurd because security cameras exist. Been saying that since I was a teen. The mask ban is more proof that I was right about the fact that they don't need to chip anyone. Firstly, we carry a whole computer around voluntarily. Secondly, the PR wizards can predict your location and choices with exponentially increasing accuracy. Thirdly, there are cameras everywhere also getting better at an exponential rate. Mask bans are already ubiquitous when you examine existing legislation. I strongly suspect due to robbery concerns a mask ban already existed somewhere in HK law. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/artic…
