@sim I've never needed to drink alcohol to have fun talking to people. You're literally drinking ethanol, a fuel source which can be used in car engines; it's carcinogenic.I can get by quite well with my coffee or Diet Coke. @projectmirai39 Incorrect. The reason minimalistic icons became mainstream was the increasing use in IoT, mobile devices, and embedded platforms.Flat and solid colours require barely any processing power, and certainly use less RAM.

@nonetrix @projectmirai39 It's not about difficulty, it's about it being pointless.There is no reason to add animations or effects to any system, even $10,000 PCs. They are a waste of resources and don't do anything useful.Wow, they look good and waste 3 seconds of your time while you wait for them to smoothly transition. That's not getting work done.
