After 3 months using macOS daily I can say this.GNOME is amazing and its UX is great, far far better than macOS.I've expected the opposite to be honest. And I'm speaking here of basic stuff, like window management. GNOME's attention to detail and snappiness is superior.

At this point I see a lot of meta posts about some unnamed "current events", how we, while being aware of them, should care about mental health. There are horrors, that you are not required to perceive visually. Use CWs. You can celebrate your own stuff and are not required to be in grief.Yet not a single post about the current events in question. My fedi bubble is quite interesting, huh.(inb4: this is not a request to explain what current events there are)

I guess getting an ultrasound air humidifier was a mistake.Air didn't get more humid, but PM2.5 and PM10 have skyrocketed. They were single digit values. And I've never seen them in this critical zone of severe air contamination.Just to be clear, PM2.5 must be less than 75, and values more than 250 are considered to be extremely bad. It is 660.Am I correct to assume that this thing just spits out a visible cloud of minerals and other particles from water and calls that humidification? Humidity didn't even get up for more than 1 percent.Internet says that to prevent this, one must use distilled water. That's expensive af.
