I get a little annoyed when someone asks me to solve an issue for them (that's time sensitive) and then just disappears when I need answers to questions.

I ended up finding a workaround that didn't involve having the user answer any of my questions, and now I can move on.

So, I'm sorry, folks, but soon I'll be moving over to my own instance. Not that I don't love Fosstodon, not that I'm not grateful to Mike (who introduced me to the 'don years ago and has been my friend for much longer) and Kev. I'm just ready to move on to my own little planet.

Before I swap instances here, I've been heavily considering a move away from MacOS (and to Linux) professionally. HOWEVER, in order for that to be successful, I require the following:Screenshot handling and easy manipulation (a la CleanShot X)PDF manipulation (signing/editing/splitting docs/merging docs)Email app (must have "snooze"/pin function, handle multiple accounts well, prefer something with templating abilities)Those are my primary needs. (I may think of more later) Suggestions?

@john I have mad love for Apologia - my main regret in all the time I lived in the USA was that I never went to their church (at the time, my husband would have disagreed with their theology, but he has come around)

@john prayer does wonders :-P we are currently in the process of finding a church. The guy doing our renos suggested one but it’s an hour’s drive.I’m amil (but postmil-curious and reading a Gentry book right now) and my husband is premil - I suspect he will come around on that too. :-P

@john thank you! I’ll also check out those books and documentary. I’ve been heavily consuming everything postmil these days. Including a vast number of Jeff Durbin’s sermons.
