@aaravchen @raretrack One of the things that is of concern is the ability for the system (or aspects of it) to be easily censored... I quite often travel to countries that aren't exactly social media friendly... @nextcloud + #mastodon + @manyver_se will probably be the most viable for me..But #Blockstack will definitely be interesting to watch progress

Here is another app from #Blockstack people might be interested in.. https://dmail.online Email through the #blockchain using your Blockstack id... Appears to only work within the Blockstack system though..

@Zambyte I think one of their 'selling points' is free encrypted email.. simplyand it appears to have Bitcoin invoicing.. Drive storage ... Possible more a novelty more than anything

My recent stumbling onto #Blockstack reminded me of #Zeronet https://zeronet.io, so I thought I'd reload it to see if it's still running...Sure enough, it's still there. There's even a Snap available for easy installation...Still like the concept; even if it is like the wild west of the internet... 😀

Finally got around to replacing my old mini-pc (my daughter accidentally killed it :crazy: ) with an Intel NUC 😄 Also decided that with a new machine, maybe time for a new #distro so I'm giving #Pop_OS a shot... so far, I;m quietly impressed!
