@lynne Yes. I don't think there's anything wrong in particular with Spain, but the options were Paris or Berlin. I'm not a big fan of warm weather, I'm dying in the 33℃ heat here already. As for food, I end up just making Italian or East Asian food anyway.

@lynne Both options are better than the UK at least... 😆 Not looking to live there forever either, 3-4 years then looking onwards is the idea. Bad internet in a city would surprise me though.

@lynne also why would it not be worth learning a language? Should only take half a year or so to get relatively fluent if you're immersed in a place which speaks it.
