Das neue #Cachet v2.4.0 Release will nicht so recht auf Debian Bookworm. Ordentliche Installationsanleitungen gibt es da anscheinend auch nicht fuer... Also wenn wer einen Tipp hat: gerne her damit! ;-)EDIT: vermutlich funktioniert Cachet ganz einfach noch nicht mit PHP 8.2... :boost_ok:

@mephisto yeah, most likely over here as well and in the meantime I'll continue running Uptime Kuma, which lacks the subscription by mail part for services. But glad that development started again for Cachet. Hope it stays that way now... :)

@mephisto I had a look on cstate as well, when I was looking for Cachet alternatives, but as you said: it's more like a template for Hugo and I didn't have had the time to deal with/learn Hugo as well. But having it teamed up with Zammad would maybe a nice setup, though. When you have something to show, drop me a pointer! :)

I don't like #MySQL and prefer #PostgreSQL instead. One of the reasons is resource requirements of MySQL. For some unknown reason, MySQL VM uses a lot more of space *and* iowait when compared to PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL (Mastodon): 100 GB, with 10000 usersMySQL (Friendica): 140 GB, with 450 usersI think I need to investigate more deeply...

Jetzt beginnt bald wieder die Zeit, dass Silvester naht und wochenlang hier rumgeballert wird. An Neujahr werden Tonnen von Boellerresten am Strand und in den Strassen rumliegen. Allein deshalb schon bin ich fuer ein Boellerverbot. Ein paar organisierte Feuerwerke sind doch voellig ausreichend. Dieser ganze Irrsinn muss nicht sein. Und das sag ich nicht erst, seitdem wir einen Hund haben, sondern schon laenger. Mit Hund macht es das Ganze nur noch schlimmer.

@ZDF Ich find das super! Noch besser wäre es aber, wenn man aus Twitter/X lernt und das nicht auf Github veröffentlichen würde (Microsoft), sondern z.B. auf @Codeberg - oder wenn es geht auch auf opencode.de, da das ZDF ja eine AöR ist.Aber schonmal ein prima Schritt in die richtige Richtung! Der Rest kommt hoffentlich mit der Zeit. Es ist halt schwer, sich von etablierten Monopolen zu verabschieden.

@davidrevoy Hope you'll have a nice stay! Bergen is being said to be the most rainy city in Norway, but everytime I was there, it didn't rain. ;) Make also sure to visit Tyskebryggen (or short: Bryggen: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryggen) and the near-by fish market. Ah, and in Bryggen make sure to find and visit this house: https://blog8.windfluechter.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/AIDAluna_Bergen_Bryggen2_DSC_1484.jpgReminds me a little of Peppers house and maybe you can find some inspirations. 🙂

@adele @Menel I‘d like to add to the benefits of #XMPP:- multi-account capable clients- address scheme: you can be reachable (if you like) under a single address by mail, XMPP & SIP- XMPP is the base protocol for many other messaging platforms like WhatsApp - only that the big tech decided to close the federation prevents it.… and many others

Ein Bekannter meinte gestern übrigens zu den Zöllen, dass die EU nun einfach den Erfüllungsort für Dienstleistungen auf den Wohnsitz der Nutzer festlegen könnte. Damit würden die US-Unternehmen ganz einfach in der EU steuerpflichtig, da die USA sich zudem einem Doppelbesteuerungsabkommen widersetzt haben.Fände ich eine valide und überfällige Entscheidung.#uspol
