@chjara The number of T-34's available is quite stupid, you can get a fully working one for 100k https://mortarinvestments.eu/catalog/item/t-34-85

@chjara sadly, it has no stupidly powerful transmitter, so we no longer have a good planetary radar.

@chjara @lupyuen SPIR-V is very low level, you want something compiling into it. But Vulkan compute does look very good and I'd like to see more support for it in scientific fields, for which a language that compiles to SPIR-V (like hopefully Triton will?) would be a great help.

@hj @Mitsu @lanodan You can still bring trolleybuses back, we recently got some nice new ones here in Kaunas.

@chjara It's trivial enough that I've seen several mechanical calculators for it.

@nosleep a magnet implant might be a lot more annoying to explain. And a lot more annoying (and possibly dangerous?) to go through the scanner.

@allison @chjara I feel like this is the reason that only Infinifactory of all Zachtronincs games utilizes 3D. 2D really helps to get the complexity under control.

@hj @izaya @quad AMD very explicitly say in their implementation docs to not use both.

@hj @izaya @quad Yeah, RCAS is quite different from CAS, and it is quite explicitly discouraged from standalone use in developer documentation. See also: my other reply to @quad

@chjara @cell @xj9 Imagine using multipart shock absorbers. Soft iron rods have enough elasticity in them to absorb the impact.
